Highlights of 2021
2021, wasn't the best year, we’ve definitely seen better times however let's take a moment to recollect some of the positive and good memories we’ve all experienced this year!
India winning gold in the Olympics: August- Neeraj Chopra wins historic gold medal for India.
The 50th anniversary of Walt Disney world: October- celebrated beautifully and is also dubbed as the “world's most magical celebration”.
American president inauguration: January- the United States announced Joe Biden to serve as their 46th president, with Kamala Harris serving as the first female, African- American, Asian-American vice president.
Friends Reunion: May- “Friends” cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Mathew Perry, Matt Leblanc, and David Schwimmer return to the original soundstage for a celebration.
The Queen of England turns 95: April- Queen Elizabeth ll is the longest-reigning monarch in British history.
New albums: singers like Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, Adele, Billie Eilish, etc, hitting us with their new albums.
UEFA euro: June to July- Italy was crowned as the European champions.
EXPO 2021 Dubai: October - this beautiful event was postponed in 2020 however, returned on Oct 1, 2021, and will continue till 31 march 2022.
COVID-19 vaccine: Covishield was released in March for 45 and above and eventually it was released for 18 and above.
Derek Chauvin was found guilty and sentenced to 22 years of prison for Goerge Floyd's killing
BLM gets nominated for a Nobel peace prize
100 cr Indian citizens vaccinated!
China officially declared malaria to be an eliminated disease.
77 countries all over the world have announced full or partial bans on plastic bags.
