Once a pristine white so pure, Stains her memory.
She lived in this earth like a cruel mistress,
The way she sat on her bed with an expression she only let the reflection in the mirror see,
Betrayal hurt,
Anger and the ugliness within.
She hid behind a curtain of glamour so tall, even she herself couldn't see beyond it.
A lifetime of regrets she carried, With shame.
Knowing her birth is a bane.
She longed for a cure, There has to be one.
Her heart wept desperately knowing the answer but refusing to believe it.
She held the dress her mother gave her on her wedding day tightly in her arms,
The pure white now stained red.
She bled away.
